European grocer E. Leclerc will be installing 70,000 electronic shelf labels from Pricer that use electronic paper display technology. Its unclear how they're updated unless "all ESL product linking is done completely at the shelf edge" means that a clerk has to update each label. Now, if they're all done wirelessly from a central system then that would be something else.
