Frame Media, Inc., the leading platform provider for content delivery to wireless digital picture frames, secured an additional $3 million in funding, bringing its total paid in capital to $5.2 million. Their web-services platform enables frame owners to program the delivery of personalized content to their wireless picture frames. My two cents: integrators and software developers should be looking at wireless digital picture frames for digital signage, especially retail digital merchandising, a little more closely. Their small size and price point make them a very viable option for in-rack displays.
