Nice video showing Microsoft's multi-touch surface at an AT&T retail store. They're using it as an interactive kiosk to promote mobile phones. How they're interacting is reminiscent of using Apple's iPhone except on a much larger scale. The "cool" part, I found, was when the salesperson dropped a phone onto the surface and it somehow became surrounded by option icons that one could interact with and (seemingly) get more in-depth product info. Probably won't be affordable for your mom and pop shop anytime soon but major retails with creative marketing teams will have a field day.
